Came in to the back 40 today for a surprise it's under new ownership new menu was a bit disappointed at first because we loved the original but honestly it was amazing!!! Fresh pressed burgers are always a weakness for me and it did not disappoint a little pricier then before but quality cost. Great food great service 10/10 highly recommend

My son and I went in for early dinner on a Thursday. There were just a couple of people there, so service was pretty good. The waitress was always friendly and professional. The quality of the food was REALLY good. I had fish n chips, and they were really yummy; same for the fries. As we were finishing up, people started coming in, and their drive-up was constantly busy. We will be back.
It's been a while since we've been here. I have forgotten how BIG Back 40's burgers are. When I say big, they are HUGE! One can easily serve 2 people.. We called in our order of 5 different types of burgers with f5 orders of fries. They said food will be ready in 15mins. It was ready as promised when we got there. The burgers were juicy and flavorful. The fries were hot and crunchy. Everything was delicious. Since they have big servings, I could only eat a quarter of my burger and barely made a dent on my fries. Don't get me wrong, I am not complaining. Service was warm and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. This is a solid spot to try in Klamath Falls. Can't wait to come back when dine-in is finally allowed.
I wondered into Back 40 Cafe while waiting for a flat tire on my car to be fixed at Les Schwab, which is nearby. When I asked about a good place to hang out while they did the repair, they recommended Back 40 and another customer seconded it, adding "I hope you're hungry!" I'm glad they did. It's a classic breakfast and burger diner. The staff was friendly. I was greeted upon entering and immediately offered to take a booth or table. My order was taken shortly after I sat down. I ordered a malt, which is homemade style. It was perfect. The food being served to other customers looked and smelled good. The burgers were huge. I'll be back.
